I was so stoked when Tokyo Treat sent over one of their monthly snack boxes to try. If you haven’t heard of it before, Tokyo Treat is a subscription box packed with popular Japanese snacks, lollies, and limited-edition treats delivered straight from Japan. The best thing is that they’re not your average snacks, there’s some that I had never even heard of like a chewy katsu snack!
If you know me, you know that snacks are my love language, so this was right up my alley.
As toddler parents, my husband and I don’t get a lot of uninterrupted time together during the day. Once our little one is finally asleep, our intentional time together often involved opening some sneaky snacks to unwind from the day.
This is our plate together tonight, a bit of savoury and sweet. And so fun to try a bit of everything.

What I loved most was the variety. While being a self professed home baker, I don’t have much of a sweet tooth- especially when it comes to lollies, so I was grateful there was such a good mix of sweet and savoury snacks. And the different textures made it even more fun—crispy, crunchy, chewy, light and crispy —every snack felt a little different. I even have noodles and a soda drink to go with it – yum!
I’d definitely recommend this to any snack lover. It would also make a great gift to spoil any foodie in your life.
